Villa Kakatua (which means cockatoo) is beautifully designed in classic Balinese style, featuring timber pillars, high serap wood ceilings, garden bathrooms, traditional artefacts, a free-form swimming pool and a garden full of exotic plants and lush tropical greenery.

Only 100m from Batu Bolong Beach – one of the islands most popular surf beaches – Villa Kakatua is within easy walking distance to many of Canggu’s fabulous beachside hangouts, hipster health food haunts and chic designer boutiques.

Warm and attentive staff will ensure that your every need is met, from stirring up refreshing cocktails to keeping the villa in pristine condition. In-villa chefs craft magic in the kitchen, adapting dishes from the suggestion menu to suit your preferences and dietary restrictions.

LOCATION : Canggu, south-west Bali, Indonesia

CAPACITY :   8 people (4 bedrooms: 1 with king-size beds; 2 with queen-size beds; 1 with an extra large antique four-poster bed containing 2 double mattresses). 2 more guests can be accommodated for an additional charge. Capacity extends to 14-16 if booked in conjunction with neighbouring 3-bedroom Villa Kedidi.

POOL :     12m x 5m. 1.27m-1.76m depth. 1 set of pool fence is provided by the villa (extra charge)

STAFF :  (Shared with Villa Kedidi) villa manager; cooks; housekeepers; gardeners; guards providing 24-hour security.  Masseuse and babysitter on request

DINING :  Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s menu. Requests accommodated (including special diets). Grocery cost is charged 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate

FOR FAMILIES:  The villa is well suited for adults and groups of friends due to its proximity to clubs and restaurants. Families with young adults may also enjoy the vibrant surroundings, pool toys and DVDs. Its central location may not be suitable for those seeking serenity and solitude
